During the consultation, we will discuss the scope and parameters of the project, define design criteria, explore exterior style options and designate the cost to produce construction drawings ready for engineering and subsequent permitting. We schedule our projects on a deadline basis. When we agree upon the project, we set an appointment time for pick up of the first preliminary drawings. We revise the drawings and complete them the same way. Drawings can be provided in weeks instead of months.

We use AutoCAD drafting software for all our drawings. It is the premier drafting software that also allows us to share files with engineers, surveyors and printing establishments. AutoCAD is capable of accuracy within 1/232'' inch. The benefits of this process are speed, accuracy and adaptability for all our projects.

We work with many local structural engineers. We are well versed in Windstorm Code requirements for clients whose property is in the first tier coastal county region.

All of our design work is done to conform to this code. The International Code gives you the assurance that quality building practices and materials will be going into your new home. The code makes your new home healthy, energy efficient and sturdy. Your structural engineer will engineer the foundation and framing structure to meet and / or exceed the code.
